Thank you for visiting the Knights of Columbus Council #14987 web site. Our council serves the Cedar Falls college communities and is located at the St. Stephen the Witness Catholic Student Center adjacent to the University of Northern Iowa Campus.

The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Ctholic family fraternal service organization with 1.8 million members. It provides members and their families and loved ones with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities, families and young people.

Who are the Knights of Columbus Council 14987? We are your neighbors, your relatives, and your friends. We are your classmates, your teachers, and your co-workers. Simply put we are members of your community working to support our local charities, local churches, and local families.

Most important of all, we are families --- wives, girlfriends, children, siblings and grandparents. All of our activities - whether charitable or fraternal (except in very limited circumstances) are open to non-members, parishioners, friends, priests, religious and anyone else.

As you surf through our web site, you will find many of our functions and activities. To find out more about the St. Stephen the Witness Council and the Knights of Columbus, please come out to the Council and meet the many fine people who are members, or contact Phil Cavin, our council's Grand Knight at uniknights -at- gmail -dot- com.

One of our own heading to the Supreme KC Convention

Congrats to founding Grand Knight Paul Lee on his election as a delegate to the Supreme Convention in August. He, along with Amanda and Jordan, will travel to Anaheim, California for the 5-day convention. To follow along on their journey, view their blog at leetriptoanaheim.wordpress.com.

In addition, Paul was selected as the June 2012 Knight of the Month for the entire state of Iowa and was recently installed as a District Deputy for the upcoming year.
